Popcorn isn’t bad for you. It’s actually a decent source of fiber. Too much salt and oil isn’t a good thing. It’s a good idea to add a small source of protein when you have a snack. Eat that first and then have a serving of popcorn. It helps me eat less of it if I’m not starving when I pick up the bag.

Buy kernels and pop them yourself in the microwave or a pot for less chemicals/sodium/oil
Agree with this! I’m a popcorn fiend, but cannot justify eating microwave popcorn every day. I make stovetop popcorn in a small pot with a tiny bit of olive oil every day and it’s super satisfying! Of course you don’t get the same butteriness, but if you love popcorn this is a great alternative and it’s much cheaper than buying microwave bags.
I get popcorn but seaweed is also a good snack!
This isn’t really a salty snack but I also like baby carrots and hummus! Very healthy and low calorie and keeps me full
Popcorn is def one of the best salty snacks because it’s mostly air and you can eat a lot of it relative to other snacks. Other salty snacks are more calorie dense with the exception of like, pickles, but the amount of sodium in those is awful for you. Just try to control your popcorn portions! +1 for combining with protein
I love pretzels! Not really any healthier, but might be worth trying if popcorn specifically is a trigger food for you
I love pretzels. Could house an entire bag easily, maybe not an ideal substitute if OP is like me.
skinny pop has chemicals - eat annie’s or pop your own in an air popper $25 on amazon
I like seaweed :) low calorie and still satisfies the salty craving
You could get those olean/olestra chips… if you go overboard you will pay the price so maybe that would cause you to only consume a small amount. Also, i think they remove PCBs or PBAs from your body.

I think you are better off with popcorn 😳
