What’s a “simple” project that ended up being far more complicated than anyone expected?
I’ve seen projects that looked like a quick fix on paper turn into weeks of work once all the dependencies, stakeholders, and hidden constraints surfaced. What’s the biggest example you’ve encountered?

In a tech start up, is it better to write policy & procedure yourself or have a vendor do it (e.g. employee onboarding policy, network policy, technical safeguards, client dispute resolution, performance milestone, etc).

Currently working with a LS consulting firm who is looking for talent at the AP level. Position is client services oriented so having a BD foundation in pharma, biotech and/or med device is ideal. How do referrals work?

Any tips for how to better implement feedback on drafts? My work is so heavily redlined that I struggle to consistently follow through with every comment/feedback. I am in patent prosecution, so it is a lot of detailed technical writing, but is also fairly formulaic, which is nice. I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.

I've been working at my current job for about a year now and I'm finally beginning to understand how the company works.

It's not easy, though. It's a small company, which means there are only a few of us in each department. There is no dedicated training team, so we all have to learn new things on the fly through trial-and-error or by asking our coworkers for help. The management team seems to be pretty hands off when it comes to project management and project direction, so it's up to us engineers to figure out how we want to spend our time and who we want to work with.
