My team is 35% POC and 61% female. We have strong LGBTQ+ representation as well. None of our 6 leads are white men.
It’s a rarity for sure though.
And we didn’t try to consciously create an extra diverse team. I think it happened organically because our leadership is diverse.
We have 1 “bro” on the team. We love him.
I want to work wherever you are working.
Ask DDB. Look at their leadership. White town
at RF, at least in LA there is some variety because someone has to do the actual work.
Getting promoted depends heavily on race and tied to that, who you get to mingle and go out to drinks with and develop personal relationships with. That determines if you get promoted while others more qualified are told they have to wait, or are just not ready - for years and years on end. Your experience and qualifications (or lack of) to do the job don't matter, it's about being the right color and experienced at hanging out with the right people.

I’ve been at this about 13 years and I’ve worked with only a handful of POC. It’s pretty bad. The small shop I’m at now is probably the most “diverse” but POC are still outnumbered 10:1.

Better than other general market agencies but still have a ways to go. Especially in creative and upper management.
I can’t speak for all of OMD but at least for New York office we can do better in terms of training/promotions for POC. Do see a lack of diversity in higher up positions.
I was one of the few black people working there back in the day who wasn't apart of building operations or support. The man who hired me was also Black.
They have the token minorities as "representations" based off of their Creative page
What’s droga like in london?
Not good at all. It scores very badly on age diversity too. It also needs to sort out its reputation that the strategy dept only hires males. Like, by hiring more women in strategy.
