What’s the RTO policy at Alston & Bird (NY office)?

I have a friend in the ATL office who has said they are pretty serious about whatever the requirement is. If I recall correctly it's 3 days, but they mean it.

likehelpful

NY - depends on the group - but generally a strict 3 days in person rule (note, some groups are 4 days).

I cannot speak to the New York office specifically, but a lot of this will depend on whether the people you are working with are in your office or not (although they definitely encourage people to be in office across the firm, there isn’t technically a formal policy for attorneys). I am in a non-Atlanta office, but the partners I work with are largely in Atlanta, so they do not care if I work from my office or home.

Caveat- Senior associates that are close to going up for partner may get asked why they were not in very much if their attendance is low. It is not a formal requirement, but it is a soft consideration that some groups think about, while others don’t.

Hi all,

I worked in PwC for 1.5 years and the moved to Oracle on last July with 50% hike(CCTC is 14.5LPA). I was hired for Application Developer 2 but often I’m getting QA work and I don’t like this job. So looking for a change.

If I leave Oracle before 12 months I should repay the amount I used for relocation purposes. ( I used around 3L )

I was interviewed in Aruba Networks ( a HPE subsidiary ). If I clear the interview, how much CTC I can expect ?

New auditor here, I see most auditors get booked for 10- 12 hours on engagements during busy season. But heard everyone’s working 65 hours to 100 hours a week during that time. Does that mean almost everyone is eating their hours in big four and midsize firms ? If you’re assigned for 12 hours daily, Monday to Friday, but actually working 15 hours and weekends, do you book 12 hours Monday to Friday ? Or the actual hours you worked including weekends ?
