Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).
I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

You should consider the perspective that you might be bored with the job. If that is truly the case that feeling will grow with time unless you actively try to change it.
As someone who waited too long and got the decision made for them— if you need something new look for it. Working just for the money rarely works and it will be hard to hide.
Feedback loop should be part of at least yearly, quarterly or semi-annual review. Your feeling is not uncommon but remember.....it's grit and balls aka perseverance that truly is the separator, keep grinding stay positive and circle yourself with a supporting cast and this feeling will figure itself out

People talk about “embracing the suck” and “grinding”, but you can “embrace the coast” too.
We don’t always have to be doing more or extra in life. If you’re able to coast, that means you’re in a comfortable place.
How’s your relationship with your family and friends, your health, when was the last time you nerded out on something other than work?
It’s just a job, you have plenty of areas in life you can tend to if you’re feeling this way.
