Has anyone ever negotiated a job title change? I have an offer to leave IB and join a startup with about $60M revenue. I’d be the first finance hire and report directly the the VP of finance. My only issue with the offer is the title is just financial analyst, after two years of IB and having to build out this team I would like at least a senior analyst title.

I am just going through ITP now, but will be requesting a transfer to a new office soon due to family circumstances. Is it worth continuing ITP, or should I focus on transfer at my lower level?
People talk about dollar cost averaging. But no one here really speaks about the opportunity cost of holding onto losers, e.g., BA or throwing good money after bad, i.e., sunk cost, e.g., mREITs. Why?
