Would it be insane to quit my job because the current insurance provider makes me jump through hoops every few months for medications I have been on for several years??
I suffer from migraines and have finally found medicine that works for me and drastically cuts back on my migraine days. But now I have missed a few monthly doses every couple of months because my companies new provider makes it impossible to get the medication approved even though it’s not considered a specialty medication.

My headaches have gotten worse again cause I can’t take the medicine consistently as intended.

I like my job, the people and the clients but the stress this causes and pain I suffer is feeling like it is not worth it. I wouldn’t want to leave for any other reason.

EY switched intermediaries a year or two ago because the company they had chosen was incompetent. Thankfully, I hadn’t had any major issues with them but apparently a lot of people complained so even though the previous company had been more expensive, we switched back. All this to say, please speak up. If people hadn’t complained at EY then our intermediary company might not have changed back to a company that does a great job.
