Would you stay in a niche tax for a 30% raise or try to branch out to federal tax without a raise?

do you enjoy the niche area of tax?

like

It’s a mfg

Depends - what’s the niche tax area?

like

Do you like international tax? I feel like it’s a hot area that you’d have exit opportunities into some big companies with that background just as much as fed tax or even more. But if you don’t like it then it’s a matter of you trying something new.

Exit opportunities into international tax may pay more than fed tax.

I would sell my kidney for a 30% raise, I can suffer through a niche area where I am a specialist, and not a generalist.

like

Federal opens up additional exit ops, compare the value of that.

Exit opportunities that are generally commodities. Depending on the niche, could have fewer, but more lucrative opportunities.
