I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. They’re also looking for an M&A with 1+ years, so it may be easier to aim for that, but I’ve heard horror stories re WLB for M&A. I have gathered that aside from MBB, ACN pays their employees the most and pretty significantly more than big 4. Jumping 🚢 A$AP.

Industry offer- 130k remote or possibly DC area, Avg brand name, 40 hours of work max, okayish type of work.

Consulting offer- Sr Consultant Level, salary probably around 110k, Could stay in my current city, typical consulting hours-50-60 hours?, Maybe more exciting analytics work.
