Hi gang, I’m in digital marketing analytics. Mostly I focus on multi media channels and email campaigns. I’m only a month in a role and being paid 65k+bonus. I live in Las Vegas and have a MBA. The company I work for is a Fortune 500 but I don’t really have any analytic experience prior to my graduation this May so this is my first analytics job. I wonder when would be a good time to ask for a raise. 1 year seems reasonable to me. What do you guys think ?

Looking for advice: I am at a smaller agency 20> people and I’ve gotten a pretty good grasp of my role.

I’ve already gotten 2 raises over the last year and one of them being a promotion this year. Unfortunately I still make less than what I would need to make to live on my own in DFW. Genuinely curious - will people ever start going back to the office consistently? Lots of hybrid talk here but from what I’ve seen no one is consistent and no managers are pushing it. Very lax and seems that no one is overly eager to get back in the office on a consistent schedule. We started going in 2x week back in April. I’ve been in a total of 6x. Only 3x was anyone on my team even there. Not once was I told to come in, at most it was suggested for ppl to start coming as they are comfortable

I need some advise. I am a relatively new adjuster. I have 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, a bachelors degree in Business and an AINS from the institutes. I currently work as a GL adjuster with a TPA. I have seen a high turnover rate on my team in my short time at this position. I received maybe 2 hours of formal training and the rest has been learn by fire, even with claims in litigation. It’s a nightmare. I can’t get 5 minutes of my managers time a day. Would you leave?

Is anyone else applying for lots of jobs and getting very little interviews. And almost no offers after 2nd interviews? I've been at this since Jan, applying for jobs similar or lower than what I hold. 6 YOE in accounting consulting, made it to director of sales for a small local firm and now a controller at a bigger firm. Just getting frustated with the process, working with unprofessional recruiters. I am in San Diego, and I've felt pretty good after the few interviews I had. Suggestions?

As a city, Atlanta vs Austin. Thoughts? Trying to decide between which city to move to. I’m into nature, hiking, and being generally active. Big foodie too. Single, 28M. People in Austin seem friendlier, but diversity is lacking compared to ATL.

I’ve done media management on 3 unscripted shows now, the last was a 3 year contract on a talk show. An earlier one I was embedded city subjects at sea for 4 months. I was a gaffer and key grip for a decade before that with occasional Cam Op gigs and did a bunch of one person crew unscripted content for clients along the way too. Often I end up doing the labor of 4 or 5 people while having 3 or more managers that just send emails. Any tips for protecting myself from this happening again?
