Pls help..am in dilemma.. in Feb 2022 i joined TCS and right now am in a project having strict timelines. The next rollout wud be in next 3 months. I.e sept.. but the thing is I am pregnant and my due date is arnd first week of sept. Most prob I wud hv to take maternity leaves frm last week of Aug.
Pls guide me how and when shud i tell hr & supervisor.

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. Usually anonymity on the internet brings out the absolute worst in ppl; they type things anonymously that they would NEVER say in person smh. But I really haven’t seen horrible comments here. I wonder what makes this app diff frm others?

Had an interview with KPMG (manager) for an FRM Consultant position about three weeks back, she mentioned that I'd be a great addition to the team and is excited to work with me but I haven't heard back anything since. On contacting HR I got the standard "we'll let you know" response.
What do you guys think? Any hopes for me? What do you think went wrong after a solid interview if no?

Need to know one thing urgently. Have attended lateral TCS interview and cleared TR and MR..But got to know in the MR round that my preferred base location they cant provide..So went ahead with it. HR discussion yet to happen.. In the meanwhile got another interview scheduled tomorrow frm TCS whose talent acquisition person told its a pan india location and any be provided.

Can anyone please let me know if I can sit for the interview tomo. Will it cause any issue /block me?

Hi Fish, one of my friend got selected in Hexaware, he wants to know if he can ask HR not to deduct PF frm his salary. He need full salary after tax deductions. Is that possible? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

I have 6.5 yoe working in ibm frm 18 months.I got an offer of 19 lpa and resigned from ibm and was offered same package and I took back resignation. However I got an offer of 23 lpa recently. Should I renegotiate with ibm for similar CTC.will they agree?

I am a SAP Technical Consultant,now will be moving to a New Company frm Accenture in MANAGER Post. My age is 34, question is after this what? Lets say I need to work till 60 Years, There is still 26 Years Left,How Far can we Go,After Manager, 3-4 Years, I will be Senior Manager, Age 37-38, After that what ? In SAP Field Particularly? I dont have any Management Degree as such,Just BTech, So, Associate Director, Director ? Are these posts on my way in my career path ?

I am about to meet my bf's parents who r frm different cast- culture all together. I m Hindu Rajput n they are Marathi Brahims.Although his parents said they are fine with marriage but i can sense they are not actually happy. They are taking it ahead just for the sake of it.Does this culture difference matters a lot after marriage.??
In-laws not liking me will be a problem after marriage.? What should i really focus on?? Is getting married be good idea in such scenerio ?

Just accepted a position as Sr. Program manager at a clean energy tech start up. They offered 140k base + 10k bonus. Also provided the option to move to California for +35% cost of living change. Now remote frm atl.

150k seems low for ATL. The houses are as expensive as Sacramento CA. I like the idea of California.

Doing my booth mba program, will likely pivot to investments or mbb. I low key heard ATL mbb offices have shortage of feeder school consultants..maybe I have a shot here.

Thoughts?

how can i ask for esop they did not mention it?

I have 1.3yoe at Accenture in support project based on ETL tools. I got a digital specialist engineer offer in Infosys (for freshers). Can someone please suggest if I should switch there as I'm not learning much and work env n management is not good here, working 12 hrs daily doing repetitive tasks. Can someone give a review on Infosys. Bcoz it's difficult to get roll off frm my project at Accenture as they've made all dependency on me

Has anyone taken the FRM (Financial Risk Management) exam? Is it worthwhile and is there future value to having that certification?

Does EY gds reimburse Frm or cfa fees we pay ? If yes what is the criteria and are there any conditions when we reimburse ?

Can anyone explain the hiring process within citi bank Ireland?
I have cleared the 1st stage and have the 2nd round scheduled this week.
What is the hiring process usually ?
I have a offer in hand frm JPM and on notice for next 2 weeks. Expected to join in March.
If i inform citi HR of this will they speed up the process if they look to make an offer ?
Would be possible to work from India until the workvisa is processed ?

Anything else I might need to consider before taking this up pls share.
