How much does AVP at citi bank gets paid in FRM - ICG in NYC? Currently a senior BA getting close to get promoted and unsure if it will be a good jump or if Im demoting myself

Other from M&G as Asst Mgr for Research profile offering 14fixed + 75kjb. I dont know how to compare. One is Client side research and other is Buy side portfolio monitoring. M&G team will be a new setup. Can you help evaluate?

Nt sure if ths helps but jst wantd to share my story - for people who aspire to be in Consulting
I have done btech from govt College, got into a steel company. There, I got in touch with a fw consultants frm BCG, got inspired to become a consultant. Workd hard to get into an IIM (K) for MBA. Workd really hard to get consulting shortlist in internship but couldn't. In finals somehow managed to get into PWC. 3 years later got into ACN strategy. Now got an offer frm BCG! Finally dream come true! 😊

Hi fishes, im a staff 2 in FSRM in GDS joined in December 2022, i cleared my FRM part 1 in may 2022, when i spoke to my Counselor if that would be consider for appraisal, he said that i have to wait till next year. My package was bit low compared to my peers. Please suggest me what options i have to get a better hike. Thank you.

What are other folks’ student loan breakdown? I have $13k frm undergrad, $17k frm grad school, $121k frm law school for a total balance of $171k bc of interest accruing for so long. I’ll finish paying off my Bach and masters soon, but those law school loans ain’t goin nowhere no time soon smh.

Considering usual hike my increased salary would be around 5.5.

According to JL4, employee should be paid 7-8.

My manager is friendly, should I directly ask him if he can retain me if I put paper ?

(Heard frm similar tech folks my unit retaining with 35% hike)

Dumb question frm a young lawyer: I have a week long vaca scheduled for August but just got an offer at a new firm I am absolutely going to accept, likely to start mid to late July. How much should a Certified FRM with 6 YOE for a Deloitte UK (London area) Senior Consultant Risk Advisory role expect? Please note that out of 6 YOE the first 4 YOE was in Deloitte US Offices in India.

Catch 22: I have 3yoe in a nonprofit/policy org and I want a new job bc I feel stagnant in my role and want to make more $$ (currently make $90k) However, the only positions I’m qualified for are other nonprofit/policy gigs that I have found all pay less than my current org. I keep getting rejected frm other roles that pay more bc I have dnt have any other relevant experience. So my current org has me stuck both literally and figuratively. Moreso venting than seeking advice bc I tried everything

Currently have the FRM title.
I failed CFA level 3 once.

I'm hoping to eventually do CAIA, but only after I'm done with CFA. I'm also hoping to do non-financial certifications, like Certified analytics professional (CAP), and learn about web development.

While I may have the title of manager, I am still an individual contributor. The type of work I do involves quantitative analysis/data analysis/science.

Any suggestions as to what I should start with?
