Any Business system analysts with 10+ experience working on government contracts? Pros and cons?

It is in reference to seeking a new position, but what would you say is better- Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner? I am currently a Six Sigma Master Black Belt but I am looking to become a program manager in IT soon with a focus on life cycle management and customer development. I am eligible to sit for my PMP, however, I want to make sure that I’m getting the correct certifications for career progression.

What’s your take on including an alphabet soup in your signature? Which of your designations do you intentionally exclude and why? ex PhD, JD, MBA, CPA, CFA, CAIA, PMP, PMI, CIMA, CFP, etc etc

Hi - I got an offer, but not super happy. During the HR discussion I was told the budget was $120,000 -140,000 and I had stated that, it is in my range and that I am looking to be closer to the top end of that budget. When I was presented with the offer by the hiring manager - it was $125,000 and I feel bummed since what I said was not considered. I am a project manager with 6+ yoe with an MBA and PMP. I meet and exceed their minimum requirements and should get close to $140,000 - thoughts?

Hi all, I just lost my job due to layoffs. This was my first official PM role. I have a lot of related experience but it is not formal project/program experience. Are there any courses/certifications you suggest I do while I job hunt in the PM field? I am not looking at PMP/PMI certification or a master’s or anything that time intensive or expensive. I would just like to take a few courses to boost my skills while I am not working.

To get hold of technology, which one would you suggest for a 11 years non technical Project Manager with PMP, PRINCE2, PSM and PSPO certification. Any suggestions to start learning low code / no code technologies like Pega or Appian ?

Have 6 Years of entrepreneur time with my small startup as a Founder.

PMP certificate. Wonder how could I get a job in this chaos market, since I have the knowledge, leadership experience as a Founder and Business Management (B.S degree).

Also, the H1B would come into play, since I do not own one.
P.s: Have Japanese Passport if it helps somehow for the paperwork.

I’m currently working at a tiny firm (15 people) specializing in multi-family residential development on the west coast. If I wanted to move into a Big 4, which one would my background best fit with? Education wise, I hold an MBA from T30 and an PMP. Looking to move out of this firm in about 2 years but want to advocate for responsibilities that can help me transition into a Big 4 in the meantime.

Which training center is best for doing training in PMP. There are a lot of centers outside claiming them as best. I am having 10 years of exp in software development and wanta to upskill in project management. Also shall I go witH CAMP or PMP ?

I passed my PMP thanks to this sub group.
I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.

Advice Needed:

P. Eng (Civil) with PMP, 6 years managing construction projects for oil & gas projects worth over $200M.
