Advice for taking the PMP? I'm doing the 1 week boot camp course. How long after that should I take exam/plan to study for? Is it hard?

Serious - Anyone here a Project Management Professional (PMP)? Any experience studying/taking the exam? Monetary benefits to the job? I hear it can warrant a solid 15-20% premium in pay.

Found out we have the opportunity to actually get certifications such as green/black belt six sigma, PMP, Agile, etc. Do big 4 firms have this as well?

Need to get 70 PDUs to maintain my PMP certification, but I don't think project management is where I want to focus development-wise. Thoughts on just letting my PMP lapse?

How hard is the PMP exam ?

I started my first job as a PM in Jan, 2022 in automotive field . I'm paid 80K CTC . I'm currently living in Ontario, Canada. I am a contracted staff, so my pay effectively will remain the same for some time. Since I have only 1 year experience, I am not sure if I'll be able to land a permanent job as well as a good hike. I'm planning to get my PMP but that requires 3 years of experience. What should I be doing till then? Stay or is it possible to get higher pay outside in supplier companies?

Currently a BA(1 yoe) in a finance company looking to branch into more senior roles with tech consulting(data science). Need to continue studies but am not sure what to choose- currently thinking of CFA, Amazon Cloud Practitioner or PMP does anyone have any advice recommendations on the path forward. I’m PMP certified and looking to move into tech from managing government projects. Any referrals for the DC area or remote?

What are the best certifications? I'm in FM, firm wants me to do a PMP. I have scrum master. What else I should take? Have considered switching to private-sector, so would want a cert that would translate if I leave federal practice.

Hi, can anyone tell me what benefits a high performer decided in PMP process gets? Also is it so e.g. If an employee is marked as high performer in 2021 FY PMP then does she/he gets its benefit in Salary Revision 2022 and also in IDB 2022?
