Hi, can anyone tell me what benefits a high performer decided in PMP process gets? Also is it so e.g. If an employee is marked as high performer in 2021 FY PMP then does she/he gets its benefit in Salary Revision 2022 and also in IDB 2022?

Has anyone done the PgMP course and exam? Is it worth it?
I got my PMP and while I didn’t see an impact on my career, it was great for organizing all the bits of PM knowledge into one cohesive framework, but I’m not sure about PgMP.

How the heck do I get out of consulting? I want an IT implementation director or up role with a good WLB and $200k+ base. Have done product and project management.

A year or so ago, I had an interview with IBM for a Program Manager. Good thing it I didn’t work out as I got something better at a more modern tech firm. However someone told me there’s a Complex Project Management cert which IBM offers only internally and apparently makes the PMP feel like a joke. Any way you can take something similar externally? I have my PMP and DASSM

Federal folks, what are senior consultants making these days?

I am in financial management making 117k. I have a BA and 7 years work experience with 3 years in consulting, sitting for PMP exam soon. Wondering if I should jump to senior consultant at another firm, or stay and try to make managing consultant (not sure the salary).

Got the pmp last year and got a notice to renew my pmi membership. Do you have to renew your pmi membership every year? If I don’t, will I have to retake pmp?

I'm getting into an official Project Manager role soon. Starting pay is mid 70s. I plan on getting my PMP within a year or so as I can use past experience as well to help count. When I get my PMP how long will it take to make a significant jump in pay (10k plus)? Would I most likely have to change companies to get a significant jump?

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

I’m a project manager with 7 years of PM experience in all kinds of industries. I’m currently in construction, but absolutely hate it. I’m looking to break into tech and was wondering if anybody has a good pathway into project management for a tech company. I’ve got a PMP, will have my AWS CCP in the next week and am hoping to have my Scrum Master by the end of the year (I’m on a waiting list)!

I’m currently taking classes online at university of Phoenix but In 6 months I will try either get Professional Pilot Degree or Aviation Maintenance Management. FAA A&P licenses. Quick question is can someone help me with PMP info
