I want to downgrade from the CSR (maybe to the CSP?) since the annual fee has gone up and my firm is moving to corporate cards. Anything I should consider (I have like 80K points so want to keep those), and how do I go about doing this?

Hit 48 months with my CSR, and downgraded to freedom unlimited. I plan on applying to CSP but should I wait until March to be eligible for the sign up bonus? (I received my CSR bonus in March 2018)

For all of you who have a chase sapphire reserve card - what is your credit limit and income?

This horse has been beaten to death but suggestions on Amex Plat vs Brilliant for Marriott loyalists? I already have Gold that gives 4X on dining and supermarkets (my biggest expenses) and don’t wanna part with that. No I don’t want CSR, thank you.

Anybody have luck getting chase to offer a retention bonus for their CSR recently? My renewal is 12/1. I got a $150 retention offer last year

i am new to chase sapphire reserve card- if you book marriott with points through the travel portal does it still count as nights stayed? will your marriott account still be linked so you get all of points/status perks?

Debating credit card strategies for next year. I’m currently a digital nomad and “rent” and everything is put on travel cards. Currently have CSR & AMEX platinum. I’m leaning towards canceling AMEX Platinum due to higher fee & lack of usage overseas. I’m thinking CSR as primary travel card, with a new United Quest as backup travel CC and AMEX Blue Cash Preferred for monthly expenses in the U.S.

Recently got Chase Sapphire Preferred and got the 100k points post the 4K spend! I just noticed that AMEX personal cards are giving a recurring statement credit if you have a corporate card. Do you recommend a) I should get a personal AMEX given I have CSP b) if so, which AMEX? Platinum, gold or another one. Thanks!!

Have a large purchase coming up ~around $6200 should I use my regular Chase Sapphire card or the Coinbase debit card I just got for either XLM or GRT rewards? Leaning towards the latter for more upside potential. Thoughts?

Any thoughts on the new capital one venture x card? I have the chase sapphire reserve, but if i get the venture x, i would downgrade the reserve to a sapphire preferred. Chase sapphire preferred: which one is better? Should I book travel through chase (gets 5x points) or should I just redeem my point? I’m new to understanding all benefits and wanting to scope out which one might be better in the long run. Chase has a great 1.25 ratio for points under travel and redeeming money so it seems counterintuitive to not use them. Thanks!!

Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred? My bulk spendings are travel (flights, ride-shares. 3/4 domestic 1 int) and restaurants(quite freq) Occasionally shopping for gifts/apparels.

Any other options to get some work done. I probably will be at the airport for at least six hours before departure because of back to back meetings.

What type of travel/trip insurance does the Chase Sapphire Preferred offer? Anything I should know about?

Does downgrading the CSR to the no-fee sapphire start the clock for receiving another sign up bonus in 48 months or do I have to product change to a non-sapphire card?

If I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred (CSP) for two years and want to upgrade to the Chase Sapphire Reserve (CSR) but also get the bonus, would my best bet be to open a Chase Freedom Unlimited, transfer my CSP points there, then open a CSR, get the bonus, and the. transfer my old points to my CSR? Would this actually work?

Downgrading CSR to Flex. I don’t have any immediate travel plans but usually fly United and stay at Marriotts. I don’t have any status with Hyatt. Is transferring all my chase points (~150k) to united preemptively before I close my CSR account going to yield max value or are there other transfer partners I should consider?

Has anyone had a GrubHub driver steal their food? Dude literally picked up my food, drove in the opposite direction, and "delivered" a few minutes later, even though I live further away than that. Called and claimed he delivered.

The CSR said they'll "investigate" but I'm sure nothing will happen. Minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, but on principle, I want this driver banned permanently. He's a liar and a thief, and I'm sure I'm not the first free meal he's stolen.

Well, I got hit with the annual fee for CSR, and they refused to refund anything on the fee. The did offer a no-fee “chase sapphire” no-fee placeholder base card with the same credit limit. Anyone have luck with the annual fee reduction?

Just got a charge my $550 for my Chase Sapphire reserve that I almost never use. I have 30 days to decide if I should keep it or do a product change to a different card. Any recommendations for chase cards with good travel benefits?

My company is paying for one credit card. I'm leaning towards Amex Platinum given the large 100k sign up bonus at the moment (which I'll be able to hit). People lean towards CSR because of the 3x on dining but I don't eat out that much (and additional perks, but I prefer the Amex for that).

Should I grab the Amex Plat and not think twice?? Thanks!!
