Hey guys, one question. My H1B will start on Oct 1st, and I am planning to visit my home country to get H1B visa stamp. I filed my amended state tax return a year ago and did not hear from them. Does it affect my VISA or entry to the US? Or should I call them to check the status of my status tax return? Please advice

Currently working in Arizona hybrid under my H1B status. My company is also located in AZ. I mostly do not need to go into office unless needed. Currently I’m planning to relocate to California for 2 months temporarily. My director is concern is this is going to affect my visa status. Does anyone have advice ?

Do Amex provide relocation expenses ?

I on L1 visa which is expiring on Dec 1. My wife is on L2 and currently pregnant and due on Dec 19. My company has filed for an extension in August for me and thinks that there will be no decision until early next year. If my visa extension gets denied before December 1, does it mean that we cannot deliver our child in US? What is the norms for losing health coverage - do I lose it immediately?

Looking for some advice as I am considering relocating to US. How difficult is for HR professionals to get a work visa? I think from what I read I qualify under eb3 (no master yet) or h1b. How do for do about looking for positions that sponsor your visa? I'm in the defense sector and have previously healthcare and financial services experience. I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?

How's the job security at Accenture as such? I know that last year, they sacked people ruthlessly and now are facing a resource crunch. Also that they mandatorily place poor performers in PIP.

But how is it in general? Should I perform as per expectation, can I be relaxed about the job security aspect or do you always need to be on your toes?

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs.
