How is thoughtworks hikes, wlb, does it provide any benefits apart from fixed pay? My research gives me a mixed review: some say it's good, some say that thoughtworks is not stable enough like big 4 or other organisations. Pls help Thoughtworks Deloitte

I've heard mostly negative things, unfortunately - mostly around stinginess with pay and promotions.
I did almost 10yrs at Cisco. The culture differs between teams but is generally quite good. There’s funding for personal development and wellness days. The healthcare is better than most other companies of the same size. The sales culture can be somewhat high stress depending on what team you’re in. The base pay isn’t as high as most FAANG companies but you have uncapped commissions and can get some huge payouts if you have a good year. I find the following year you’ll likely get slugged with a large growth target so can be a cycle of feast then famine. It’s smart to move
internally after a big year. I had success with new acquisitions, Cisco Meraki for example, when targets were low and the technology took off. Amazon has a much better base but less chance to blow out your overachievement.
I work for Cisco.
As a company, I think we have a pretty excellent culture, benefits and pay is okay.
The ELT (Executive Leadership Team), which is Chuck R and his direct reports, all seem to actually care about the wider Cisco team, and are constantly pushing for better/more fair working conditions and pay for all.
I'm not directly part of any of the internal IT teams, however I do touch/use a lot of our AWS stuff and lemme tell you... it's awesome! Cisco is not a dinosaur lol
I work as a full time employee at Cisco and I'm a network engineer but looking to move to DevOps. From my experience I can tell you working here is good, you have a very good working environment, you can trust your peers and if you need something to play, like a network device, VM, containers, accounts you can have it, you are not limited.
Cisco is a great company. Your experience might vary depending on your department and role. But based on my experience, the people were great and very supportive.
