I have 15+ yoe in US and international healthcare (clinical ops, mgmt, prod imp, apms), 10+ of which have been in non-trad consulting roles. I don’t have a masters but am applying now. I’ve been contracting on a number of fed projects for BAH with VA, HHS, etc for 5 years as SME/imp spec.
Can someone point me in the direction of learning more about exiting to growth equity / VC-esq firms (e.g., Insight Partners, General Atlantic) from MBB? Trying to evaluate and having a hard time finding info on recruiting timeline for ex-consultants (is there on/off cycle like PE?) and level of technicality needed for interviews
Rant 🚨 after 6 months of interviews with Oliver Wyman and then having a verbal nod (they even changed office location after 5 months) on Thursday I had an invite “Final Round” with Talent Manager. I was confused so I reached out to a partner through LinkedIn as I had my final round a month back. I got a call yesterday from the recruiter saying I will have a comp call today. I come on the call and it’s a straight :”we’ve decided to go in a different direction and business needs changed”….
Hi, I am currently an associate in advertising. I have been here for 7 months now, first job after graduating university. I am in SF. In the next few months, would like to transition to consulting and interview for EY/PWC. Any tips on the interview process since coming from advertising? Note - we do a lot of strategy and have clients that we 'consult' on the right approach and strategy. Thanks in advance, appreciate it. EY PwC Deloitte
What is the OW associate interview process like?
Can anyone tell me what the salary range is for Monitor Deloitte senior consultants in the UAE? Also I have a SC offer from PwC healthcare (not strategy &) and currently also interviewing with Monitor so according to you all which of the two is better across WLB, growth, culture, quality? Thanks!
Simon-Kucher & Partners Anyone at Simon-Kucher & Partners? Last year I was in the interview process, but had to drop out because of a personal event. I’m still interested in the firm, but would that have burnt a bridge? I went through a recruiter so I’m not sure how well he articulated that.
What’s it like being in the research and insights division at a consultancy? I’m applying for a role in the knowledge org at Boston Consulting Group. How does this compare to a consulting role? I’m assuming a lot less travel (if any), but would this be embedded in a client engagement? Or would it serve the whole firm in terms of conducting industry trend analysis, etc.
Teneo anyone familiar with the interview process at Teneo? I’m currently going through its recruitment process for an entry level private equity consulting role, and just received the invitation for the first round. However, the email doesn’t specify any content or format of the interview, so anyone with any insights will be great! Also happy to learn about the firm in general, etc.
