Used to be part of the interview process when we hired a new person to work with me and now I’m not….why do you think that is? Should I be concerned?

How to go about rescheduling an interview the day before? How bad of a look is this?

I have an intro call with an Accenture recruiter about a job I was referred to, next week, typical intro calls are 10-15 minutes and on a cell phone, but guess this is on Zoom for 30 mins. How should I dress (tie, button down, suit jacket) and what should I expect in the call?

Campus hire ( Tier 2 consulting firm ) told during interviews, and early onboarding travel is by preference. Been on bench since sept. Now they want me to travel in a new project, and I can't due to family obligations. What is the best way to ask to be assigned to a new role ( same unit) that requires no travel and alligns with my skills and major? I’m just really scared they’ll fire me

People keep telling me that the fact that I am applying for junior positions at 27 is not a problem because everyone has a different time in life, but I cannot help to feel uncomfortable when someone asks me how old I am. A person just referred me to a tier2 and asked me, they didn’t mind at all but I really wanted to lie because it’s almost impossible to find candidates who took extra time to graduate. I did get an internship in MBB though, which improves my resume, but I still feel bad :(

Just got an email back from Infor that I didn’t get into the program. I would have had 1YOE working with ERP’s coming into this role which is something I’ve found I throughly enjoy. My friend referred me, and from what I could see from my interviews they really liked my background. They had also informed me what software I was going to work with.
I am someone who really takes feedback to heart and I truly want to know what they didn’t see in me. What’s the best way to approach this?

Have a video interview coming up with ZS Associates. Only esimated to be 10 minutes long - does anyone know if this will just be the normal fit/behavioural questions? For those who got terminated for performance and received severance package, are we entitled to unemployment benefits? EDD states that it will conduct an phone interview to determine that there was no misconduct.

I have been on the job market for 3 years now. What am I doing wrong? I apply to jobs, I make it as far as an interview for only a fraction of jobs applied to and so far nothing has stuck yet. All my jobs to date has been my referral. I have worked my resume several times to improve it. I don't know what else to do.

What’s the interview process like for a Client Facing Senior Knowledge Analyst role in Banking Digitization at BCG? I’m fully aware that it’s not CT and I have no desire to remain in consulting. Are there case interviews? If so, are they as difficult as the ones for CT?

Hi I have a offer for a role that is going to expire soon. I have interview for another team (same company) as well. If I accept the current offer, am I able to rescind it if offered a role on the other team? Or am I screwed and have to stay happy in what was already offered to me?

IL unemployment benefits: the state scheduled a call with me to determine my eligibility for benefits. Per the State, Because Accenture tagged me as “discharged” vs “laid-off”, I may not be eligible for benefits.

I think people who are preparing for cases are becoming increasingly insane. It used to be that casebooks were okay, then people started demanding to only do cases using “real” cases from recent interviews. Then, people started arbitrarily separating “basic” from “advanced” cases, and they started asking whether I was an “advanced candidate” (whatever that means), otherwise they wouldn’t practice with me. Now, a guy asked me to “pratice using an advanced Bain second round real case”. Chill out

Would you wear a coat, dress shirt, and tie to a virtual Google Interview or is that being extra (pajama bottoms bc virtual)

No experience with case interviews before and have a case interview (experience hire at EM level) scheduled for next week.

I’ve been hearing that most people that do well have 20+ live case experiences; am i too late to practice? It’s not something that can be crammed last minute either
