What are the most lucrative exit opps for a generalist/strategy consultant at big 4 public sector consulting with security clearance? I have a video interview for an S&O position next week. I am currently an Oracle ERP consultant with 6 years of experience and in the transition to strategy. What should I expect? Should I try to fake my experience so that it does sound like I did some S&O related work in my past or should I admit that I just have done technical implementations in my past but willing to move on? How should I play it?

Offer as a talent program manager in industry $130k with 20% base. Currently talent consultant at $112k base about 5-10% bonus but up for manager this year. Worth it to stay? Or take the exit and run? T3 Midwest city. New role would have slower progression but better wlb and focus on really cool and specific talent work. Consulting role would be broader and provide the chance to manage a team. Thoughts from the bowl?

I am currently working as an SAP functional consultant in Infosys and I have done my MBA from K J Somaiya ( Mumbai). I have worked here for 1.5 years and am very eager to shift to a more non technical strategic business consulting role , preferably with one of the big 4 companies. At the client an a consultant says... wow, I can’t believe how little client John Smith makes for that senior level role. They’d have to pay me minimum $350k to consider taking that job... Mean while, John Smith is a VP with 25yrs of legit experience making $250k+ in industry and consultant has an MBA and 4yoe. Entitled or reasonable to share in the team room??

Senior Consultant here. I agreed to an extension on my current project on a role that has not yet been confirmed (still working out contract details but will likely be finalized soon). However, a new role on a different project is now available and I would much prefer to be in this new role. Can I back out of my current project and join this new role?
