Anyone have a recent ad salaries survey they can share? Or a Planning Salary Survey that still hasn’t been shared publicly yet? Worked to the bone and underpaid ($120k as a strategy director with 10 years exp in Toronto, before a covid pay cut), and since no one seems to be hiring planners atm, trying my best to get paid (at least closer to) what I’m worth and any evidence of salary bands per title helps. Currently a manager/director at EY-Parthenon; MBA T-10, engineering (non-computer) undergrad. What do my exit ops into Big Tech look like? Not sure where to even begin!

Looking to come back to consulting post-MBA but long term goals are to pivot into a Director of Ops eventual COO path role at a behavioral health start up or managing behavioral health programs at a large health plan. What are some tips and strategies for getting hired as a director in industry straight from a Big 4 manager position (skipping the senior manager level)?

Re: my resume: How should I position the freelance that my art director partner and I work on together? The nature of it is a lot more conceptual and more brand building-y than the freelance that I've worked on solo. Should we create a company name to file it under? Or should I put it under my other freelance work?

Delicate situation, need advise: my director texted me this morning saying he has a high ranking friend who is hiring and if I might be interested. He made it clear that his ask was casual and had nothing to do with my job security or performance. I am about to call him back later today but worry if I should express my interest explicitly should it be a good opportunity, since it implies that I am looking to jump ship. Having a tough time right now, any suggestions?

Anyone have insights into Director level role at Facebook? I'm currently a PPMD and have been looking at SVP and EVP roles at other companies. I'm not specifically hung up on title but more concerned about the substance of the role (scope, responsibilities, seniority, budget, team, etc.). FB has been very vague and generally focusing on "its FB so its different " as an answer. They also have not confirmed if they can match base comp, they only talk about upside from equity. Any thoughts?

Would you take a same level role in industry for 20-40% increase in comp at a big company or a director level role with up to 50% increase at a smaller firm?

Would love to hear your thoughts on salary range for Copy/Content Director in the DFW market. Role would oversee copy and head up campaign development for a multi brand retailer. This is a large public company of over 10k employees with a presence in the states, US, and Canada.

Currently making 255 total compensation, looking to move to a director role in a bank (back office). They’ve asked for my salary expectations. I’m trying to work out what number to start the negotiation at - would 300 be too much?

I’m interviewing for a Manager position with Guidehouse. All I know is that it will be a 45mn panel with a Partner, Director, and Associate Director. Any insight would be appreciated.

What does a good CV *look* like in 2020? Im at strategy director level with lengthy experience in two continents at a top 5 agency and some solid award winning famous work to speak to. And barely getting any replies. And a bunch of rejections to client side applications. Not even an interview. I know there’s hiring freezes everywhere, but this is demoralising as fuck.
