NTT Data Director position role in discussion. Go or no go ? Any insights ?

Besides hiring a new actually talented creative director, how have earned PR peeps explained “mediability” to creatives? I feel like mine keeps giving us the most mediocre ideas then gets super defensive when we try to explain why they won’t work.

I’ve been approached for a Healthcare opportunity - Director of Finance - Administrator for a small hospital. What does Administrator mean in the healthcare setting? Is this a paper pusher role?

As a manager in Big 4 I reported to a partner all the while I was at the firm, so acted as a de-facto director often with managed and sales revenue toy name. Didn't get promoted, however, so ended up exiting. Didn't quite land the best role but ended up with a SM title in industry. The role however has lesser responsibility in comparison to my big 4 role. How do people adjust with such misalignment?

Does a digital director level position - approx base salary 160-180k with a company that has 100,000 employees (if you include their stores), 12b rev, 4 b net income, seem to be a stretch for a consultant with 5 yrs of experience & 2 yrs of launching/running business? The majority of their income comes from in person. Online is approx 200 mill. rev, net profit of 50 mill. About to be promoted to mgr this yr.

How do you break from a M / Sr. M Position to a Director position in industry? Seems like all directors seem to come from outside the firm from another D level role or have been with the firm for many years. In other words, how do you become a director in industry in the most efficient way possible?

Curious question - what are the best recruitment consultants to work with?
I feel many recruiters are plain idiots and try to treat you as commodity or try to convince you for something that you don’t want. For example - a recruiter send me this email

“Director of strategy role with a biotech and 3 people reporting to you. Call me if interested”.

How worthwhile are the associate director positions in pharma / big biotech (role is bizdev)? Coming from a Boutique firm, 4 YOE post-UG; solid pay jump from where I am now and the opportunity is with a good company (brand-wise). What’s the downside?
