How long wfh will continue in gds tax team? I got offer from EY tax team and from another company which is a small firm, small firm offers 20% more salary but its hybrid, My team currently having wfh.

I have heard about the culture. I am looking for advice: 1. I should stay back and demand for complete remote rather than travelling to Mumbai every quarter for a week, matching the package I have been offered. 2. switch and take up a new role with added salary, but no much flexibility.

I have two offers with me
1. Infosys 18.25 LPA(15% variable) 1.25 JB
2. Infostrech (Apexon now) 21 fixed 1.25 JB

Infosys permanent wfh (Infosys doesn't have office in Gujarat)
Infostrech (Apexon) 1year wfh then hybrid (office is there in my hometown)

Which should I go with?
In terms of wlb (must for me as I am having small daughter to look after) & job security .

I interacted with a few leaders and found out some reasons for not allowing complete remote.
1. Culture : Culture gets diluted
2. Identify future leaders : Difficulty identifying and promoting people with leadership qualities.
3. Bad apples : Not everyone is productive from wfh and it is administratively difficult to only ask specific people do be in office. Hence, same policy for all.
4. THEY FEEL most are paid fairly according to role and the city, so savings not an issue.

Hi i have recently got an offer in Morgan Stanley. Trying to reach HR but no response. If anyone is aware, Kindly help me clarify my queries

1. I have received RSA token before my joining date and no response from HR. If they have provided only RSA key, in that case does MS provide laptop or we have to use our own laptop

2. Any idea on deductions in salary. I'm confused since my allowances is 50% of my basic salary.

3. Since it's a hybrid model, do they still wfh benefits/ allowances

Wondering if there's any tips out there for attaining a significant pay jump/career move. Been in retail banking for years, teller up to branch manager. Pandemic hit and that was the exit sign for me. Found this current position within my company and took it bc it's wfh and touches on a piece of what I like which is aml and risk. But the pay is just not there, I'm struggling to pay bills and I know I'm worth so much more but I have not been able to figure out how to get from point A to point B.

Unanticipated first world problem. Company got me a 4k 32" monitor for wfh. Woohoo! Except my mount can only deal with two 27" ones. Should I... ask for a smaller monitor? 😦
