In general (not only during Pandemic) - If you are a fully remote (not due to COVID) worker in a high COL city (lets say NYC/LA/DC/Chicago) and move to a different city/state in the middle of no where (Montana/Puerto Rico/Alaska/Where ever).
Should your employer adjust your income accordingly per your new COL? Aside from state tax/laws/etc... Will your employer have any issues with your move?

I received a take home case study for a strategic finance position. They gave me historical statements for the last 3 years (quarterly) and asked for insights/observations and opportunities/trends. What should I be observing here? I’m used to just modeling exams but I’m not sure how to proceed here. Anyone know what the career path looks like for people that join a Strategic Partnerships Team at a tech company?

I have ~6 YOE (5 in tech consulting at B4, 1 in current role) and work in back office IT making 180k TC working 25-30 hours per week. It’s low stress and easy money but I’ve plateaued. Should my next move be MBA or try to go back to consulting?

My investing strategy is just to DCA into an S&P 500 index fund and keep buying and holding. If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.

I am a regional controller for a hospitality group. I began looking for a job in a different industry, but have hit some roadblocks with trying to communicate transferable skills and management style (decentralized). Any recommendations?

Will I burn bridges if I don't do a full two weeks notice?

For example if I put in my 2 weeks on a Wednesday, will I burn bridges if my last day is the following Friday?
