What is the SHRM and is it even worth it to get?

Starting a new job as a Merchandising Coordinator for a large food/sales company soon… no experience in merchandising, just customer service. Any advice???

Hello everyone! I am an analyst at a PE firm wanting to move to Sales (particularly in tech). I have been working in the TMT sector in finance for 8 months and I am looking to vecome more knowledgeable in this new sector (tech sales). Does anyone have any advice regarding jon opportunities /best companies / any other relevant info? Thanks!
P.s - I am spanish an would prefer to work in Spain, although i wouldn't mind travelling if the opportunity is lucrative!

Sorry to cross-post. Small company (50 employees) offered me the GC role but was way under market (only 100k - no equity because it’s private). How do I respectfully say, “If you’re firm on that number, I accept but I’m working only 40-45 hours a week.”

YOE 7.5yrs. Tech : Java -Springboot & Angular
Salary is not big deal.

I want to leave my captive company. I don’t think I am ready to be totally on my own even with a cluster group etc. There is an option to be subcontractor in another independent company. Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. Hi Fishies, I’m 32yrs old and went with IVF due to male factor. I had 5AA t/f(modified FET) on 11/07, today (11/16)I had blood work, nurse told HCG level is: 168.5, and will be checking again on 11/18, to see if HCG is raising. Is this good value? This is my first time IVF , little worried but again not keeping many hopes and become depressed I’d something goes wrong. Meanwhile trying to stay positive as well.

Interested in working in PE, but experiences align more with the Ops side (3 YOE in strategic value creation). Is there a significant difference in total comp potential between ops and investments roles? Not sure how to make a case to break into investments with minimal DD experience, so thinking about Ops recruitment (Associate). Would also be grateful to learn about potential strategies non-DD focused consultants have used to ultimately break into investment teams.
