ACN folks, can you expense your uber to dinner when you don't have a rental car? I'm sick of eating this per-diem killing $35 hotel dinner :(

So when I go to dinner by myself, I can expense that cab?

I expensed an Uber to Chipotle and back because they said "only one person on the team should have a car, you can share." Um... We'll see about that. Policy states Uber is preferable to renting so I'm just going to rack that up and get extra SPG points.

I only do if it's a team dinner, didn't know if I could on personal dinnets

Yes for sure

Same question- what if you have the option to rent but prefer not driving. In that case?

Rent a damn car

Yes.

Good to know!

Rental car policy is below manager you should share a car with a person at or below your level.

Any advice on where to go after PR (financial & healthcare)? I have one year of experience and have been pretty disappointed with my current agency. I have a been actively interviewing & was thinking to go into the sales route. I graduated in 2021 and really have no idea where I want to end up. I’ve been talking to people & networking trying to figure out next steps— could use some insight. The culture at my current agency isn’t the best & the pay is basically unlivable for NYC. Any thoughts?

Started new job at a non-F500 (CorpDev) this week (got offered +45% over my previous base).

Received an offer today from EY, which is +35% over my current base.

I kinda like the CorpDev gig more and have very little motivation to join EY (that particular team). Can I still use their offer to pump up my current base here at the non-F500?

How can I ask for a raise and not set wrong impression so early on?
