I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

Analyst -> Sr. Analyst -> Associate (E1/E2) -> Sr. Associate -> Principal -> Sr. Principal -> Partner
Some LOB have eliminated the analyst position and others don’t differentiate between E1 and E2. Also, while there is a difference between Principal levels, I don’t think people make a big deal about it like at ACN for Manager and Senior Manager in day to day operations. I’ve worked at both and you can equate Mercer’s analyst level/C to CL11 and work your way up with some slight changes and overlaps between the levels.
It really depends on the LOB and practice you end up with, but overall I would say that the culture of the firm is definitely not as cutthroat as ACN. You aren’t expected to work ridiculous hours and no one cares about when you take PTO. There isn’t an up and out mentality at Mercer, but the drawback is that the pay is definitely below market value.
DM me if you’d like a referral. Hope it helps.

Is Mercer hiring at all? I'd love a referral if you're open to it
I am interested in Workforce Consulting or People Consulting. How could I go about obtaining a referral?
