If you want something EXCELLENT and very moisturizing, I’d say get a tatcha moisturizer. It’s the best thing ever for my dry skin. It is on the pricier side though ~$70. Another great option that’s dermatologist recommended, amazing quality, gentle, and more affordable is any La Roche Posay moisturizer. My fav is the toleraine moisturizer. It’s runs I think ~$20 and it’s sold at drug stores and target. You can’t go wrong with either. I’ve been going to the dermatologist for years for my skin, so I’ve tried everything in the book. I know you don’t like a lot of steps, but adding retinol to your skin at night before a moisturizer will literally prevent aging, dark spots, acne, you name it.
I get mine prescribed to me. It’s a lil heavy duty, so I had to work my way up slowly so that my skin could safely tolerate it. Retinol that is mixed into creams and stuff that can be bought at the store is typically not very effective in my opinion. However, maybe someone else could recommend you a good retinol product that works for them!😄
I absolutely love Filling Good by Farmacy- i get eczema in the winter and it really helps! I use it before bed with the Laneige eye mask and in the morning as a base for my makeup. also have very sensitive skin and have had no issues at all!
Cerave, you can get a lot of product for a low price.
I use my regular skin care and then cerave moisturizer in the end at PM. Skin stays soft otherwise gets dry.
Morning:
- Rinse face, no washing, or use a toner after rinsing face
- vitamin c serum
- eye cream, moisturizer and sunsreen
Night:
- gentle cleanser or double cleanse if you use makeup
- retinol serum 3-6 times a week, use chemical exfoliating serum like lactic acid 1-2 remaining days
- eye cream and moisturizer
I'm 32, and have been following the 3-day glass cycling routine for the past 2 months, my skin has never looked better. Eye creams are optional as you could get away with using just a moisturizer, but get an eye cream and moisturizer that can be worn during both day and night to keep it simple.
I love both of Estee Lauder's Night Repair eye cream and moisturizer, and Dr. Jart's ceramide moisturizer as a 2nd moisturizer for when my skin feels really dry.
I’ve been doing skin cycling too but 2 days of rest after instead of one. My skin has changed tremendously and it’s only been a month!
If you want something that is average cost, uses natural botanicals, fruit & plant essences, not tested on animals and the first ingredient is Aloe you want to try L’Bri. Let me know if you would like more information or try samples.
There are many great options out there, one of them is Alpyn Beauty, they have a beautiful buttery face cream that simply melts on your skin without leaving a greasy texture.
I’m a fan of Strivectin and BeautyBio! They’re both great for anti-aging, and gentle on the skin. I’ve had flare ups with other brands in the past, but my skin seems to respond really well to either one of those brands!
neutrogena hydroboost gel cream (extra-dry), it’s also unscented. I have very sensitive skin

The Ordinary moisturizer!
I love juice beauty stem cellular, I’m a little older, but it’s really nice. I also like andalou naturals, they have a few kinds. I like the all natural products the best.
Honestly - Nivia. It's hydrating, well priced, lasts a long time and if you're dry (like me) it's a lifesaver in the winter months when my skin needs extra hydration. It's non-comedogenic (won't clog your pores) so it's even safe if you're acne prone. If you're not sure about Nivia - go for the Keihl's ultra facial cream - a little pricier but fantastic as a 1-step nighttime routine.
Gold Bond Retinol Overnight Body Lotion hands down - retinol, peptides, good price, can use body and face. Can't go wrong.
