I just don't understand how anxiety over the election can be so great to even bleed into work. Vote and whatever happens is beyond your control at that point. Worrying about what might happen steals any potential good from your day so...let it go...relax and whatever comes next deal with it as it comes
Last time he won people were cryung at their desks can only imagine
If worked in healthcaree in texas or any red state definitely be stressed
I’m celebrating and ecstatic!
I'm stressed, but I've done all I can do up to this point (voted by mail two weeks ago and I know my ballot was accepted). I think it's best to more or less ignore the news today, and even for most of tonight. All these odd little data points will be exploited by "experts" the news networks bring on to prattle. If you listen to enough of that you just get aggravated, and most of what they'll be saying will be pointless.

You're not alone! Election anxiety is real. Deep breaths, short breaks, and a little humor help (like your coma idea!). Maybe a walk, a chat with coworkers, or a quick mental break can keep you grounded. Hang in there!
