I came across someone on LinkedIn who does | thing | with his job title and he included Ex-Deloitte. I’ve seen ex-MBB and ex-FAANG but never Deloitte. Are people getting a little too generous with the Ex- monicker?

Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). Too many things at once means I can’t do any one thing right. Trying to draft something but need to get our 5 emails on something else, immediately revise that thing and get it out, speak to the person to update them on that other thing, where am I on the initial thing? Received an offer from Deloitte as a consultant at $115k, $10k sign on bonus, 12% annual bonus. About 6.5 yrs out of college working full time as a consultant since. This is at best a flat move both in role and comp. recruiter said that pay, sign on, and target bonus are max and there is no room to negotiate up…Essentially take it or leave it. Does that sound accurate? Should I ask to come in at senior consultant?
