hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.

I have been offered from NTT data and a week ago they gave me a call to check if i can join early.. i said i am ok to join early if NTT is ready for buyout. They said they will come back on it and a day ago i can see that the recruiter has posted a job opening in naukri with the similer set of experience with what i have and i am little skeptical that will they revoke my offer. I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? Situation:
just replaced a 35yr lifer and now boss tells me to create a business plan and comp scheme. Now there’s me and my trainee who’s rather green. It would be my responsibility to train him up. With 2 effective sales people last year we did ~7M @ 50% margin avg contract value of $25k (record setting year).

Never been in an SE or consulting or B2B sales role before but have a referral at Salesforce and have been in some informal conversations. I’m starting to freak out a bit now that maybe I can’t do it. I have a tech background so can handle that part, but perhaps strategy may be difficult. Recruiter for big tech company reached out on LinkedIn about a role. I asked about ballpark compensation numbers and they said they’re only comfortable sharing on a live call. Replied that I often receive LinkedIn offers for roles of paycuts around 30-50% so I want to make sure we’re in the same rough range. Recruiter again said she would only share via live call. Is this a red flag?
