If it's nice out I try to take two walks everyday a few times a week I try to work from a coffee shop if that smoke for you
Yeah fitness is a lot about replacing unhealthy behaviors with healthy ones. So like previously whenever I felt really tired it would be a sign for me to eat something unhealthy now I know it's a sign for me to do at least light physical activity
Fear does it for me lol. I could sleep for 37 hours straight if feels like, but I’m too worried I’ll get fired or something if I go too long without responding. I try to respond within an hour or so, and I think I’m doing okay. Also, you don’t have to do tasks all at once. If I’m feeling like shit one day, I’ll still respond to people, but just push work to the afternoon or next day. You can’t always be 100% everyday.

I had same issue. Being remote comes with so many challenges you don’t get in an office setting and if your remote team feels disconnected and not talk to each other for days it isn’t good either. Overall I decided that WFH as much as liked the flexibility for picking up kids and saving money on gas and daycare is not worth it mentally for me and will decimate my skills and growth as a professional. I even got diagnosed with major depression and I think I did feel effects of cabin fever.
I cannot accept that this is going to be it for me the next 25+ years: being alone in my bedroom for 8+ hrs on my computer and only communication is IM, zoom and emails. I just accepted an offer where I’ll be in the office everyday with everyone else. Very happy and looking forward to the change in routine and be part of a team.
Good luck to you. I'm going to go into the office or coffee shop a couple days a week. The isolation makes my depression worse.
