Lol at everyone thinking everything’s peachy. The fed is going to continue to increase rates and the market is dropping every quarter. We are in a recession. Layoffs are happening already and they’re going to continue. We’re in for a major correction to this inflated wonderland we’ve been living in. Do good work and hold onto your job. The days of entitlement are ending.
Microsoft, docusign, Netflix already started
Google, meta, Amazon are more aggressively PIPing and will only turn into more firing.
This is all big tech that has been inflating the rest of the market. When they go down it will trickle to the rest of the market like it did when they were paying outrageous comps and benefits. Y’all need to wake up.

No lol. With corporate profits as high as they are, and with companies struggling to hire enough people, there’s no way layoffs are coming
I'm worried my group hired too many people at my level... There are so many new people with not much to do and number of projects coming in decreasing.
But I also kinda hate my job so w/e

You’re in DET aren’t you………
Accenture will be firing 5% starting this week, it is not a layoff if is the normal purging of people not progressing or requiring improved performance.
This is 100% a FACT, stop living in a dream world
Depends on what type of consulting you do. For myself I’m not personally worried, our business typically does quite well in recessions also
