Apologies for the inappropriate question: What is your job title, location and salary? I just want a deeper understanding of who actually makes money in this industry. I'm an AE in London on £24k.

It's all good - it's a very personal question so if somebody doesn't feel comfortable giving that much information they shouldn't.

London rent is insane. My name rent is £2500 a month so actually more than my salary. The have other means though. Most people I know pay 600-700 a month.

@CAD1 - Sorry if it seemed I was complaining! Fully aware I'm in the early stages of my career - this was more to raise my understanding of what sorts of opportunities/salaries there are out there in this I and how they vary country to country. Thanks!

@PM1 - 😂 @OP - you’re an AE. You’ll soon notice that your colleagues seem to get raises and/or promotions what feels like every day, since there’s so many rungs on the account handling ladder. @AE1 - What deductions are you talking? Taxes etc? Like everybody else? This is the start of your career - give it some time for you to progress and earn more, or get some perspective.
