Hi Fishes, Currently I am working in Kolkata for past 3 years. I am not a fan of the humid weather in Kolkata. Whenever I go out, its sweaty.. I have an opportunity to shift my workplace to Hyderabad. I want to know about Hyderabad weather month wise..
Weather is only the deciding factor to move. Anyone who has lived in both the cities for more than a year.. Cognizant Tata Consultancy Capgemini IBM Infosys

Put it in your 401k anyway, pre-tax contributions = lower AGI = less taxes paid
I’m at EY, I have a Roth 401k set up with fidelity. I’m pretty sure EY doesn’t do anything until your second year correct?
Pretty sure that’s not correct
Assuming you have a good non-retirement rainy day fund (I like having 6-12 months of fixed living expenses accessible in cash or brokerage without early withdrawal penalties), I would fund your 401k with pretax contributions after maxing out your Roth before saving after tax dollars in a generic brokerage account
Based on your title, I’m guessing you work at PwC? If that’s the case, you get a firm match on your 401(k), it just doesn’t begin to vest until after your second busy season.
EY matches when you start 1.5% if you put up 6%, you get the full 3% match when you hit year four
That is correct OP. They don’t match anything until you’ve been at the firm for a year. After that year is when you get the 1.5% on the 6%.
Thanks EY3 I have been here too long forgot what the policy was
No worries! I think that was a recent change effective a year or two ago.
