I'd be offended if my partner didnt wanna bring me as a plus one if its allowed and encouraged tbh
Absolutely!
If it's allowed and encouraged, I'm all for it. Having them there makes work events so much more enjoyable, and it's nice getting to meet my coworkers' partners. I far prefer this environment to lunches or parties that are comprised solely of coworkers. They're always much more fun and less stuffy.
I mean who else would u bring as plus ones right
Sometimes, it depends on the event and who will be there. Sometimes I just need to focus on the people I’m trying to meet and have discussions with so I don’t need him there as a distraction.
Chief
I don’t have a partner but I think it would depend on the partner. If he was more of an introvert and I’d need to baby sit him, I probably wouldn’t bring him but if he was someone who was very out going or if he was good at helping me get in front of the right people, I’d bring him.
My dad is on the more shy side so he’ll bring my mom to help him out
