Before my start date
When I didn’t have time for things that made me happy
When you ask the question
During my second busy season after having my first child.
When I was so fed up with the long hours/shitty managers that I stopped trying so I wasn’t really learning anything anymore/adding value to my career. Also seeing how underpaid I was once I started looking around and seeing offers way higher than what I currently made.
A few months after the rest of my team left. The added pressure of onboarding and training the new staff as well as the new seniors while adjusting to a completely new role wasn’t worth the “learning experience”. Plus the client sucked
When my hourly salary started working out to less than minimum wage…
But honestly there were a handful of reasons, mostly that I wasn’t happy doing the work I was doing, I never had free time to hang with family and friends, and none of my superiors really seemed like they enjoyed their lives
