Hi #Urgent
Got the Offer Letter from Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.
which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.
Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.
(already passed my LWD: 2nd nov)

Woman (and mom) here and think it is acceptable given the disruptions of daily life present in calls all the time now. Maybe “unprofessional” but so is your kid running around in the background interrupting you and I don’t think people would be so quick to say turn the camera off. I’ve done a few calls on video with my toddler sitting in my lap and would do the same if I were breastfeeding right now.
As a woman, I think it’s unprofessional with the camera on—just as I would find it unprofessional if a colleague were eating on camera during a call. If you need to feed your child or eat during a call, turn the damn camera off.
Female here, but that’s a big no. Would a woman seriously sit in the middle of an in-person meeting in a conference room and breastfeed their baby? It’s unprofessional. Just turn the camera off
Exactly just turn the camera off. If anyone asks she could tell them she was breast feeding.
I’m all about it.
Maybe let her know that the woman is allowed to switch off the camera for privacy reasons if she's occupied with the child.
It's easier for one person to switch off the camera than asking everyone to do so

I’d turn cam off too but I also wouldn’t really be up in arms about it if it was internal 👍🏾
Feed the baby, applaud her bravery and if you find it distracting, let her know so she can adjust the camera or turn it off. In an ideal world, this would be no big deal so best you just try to move beyond the shock and just embrace the human nurturing. Babies need to eat often and trust me, the crying would be a bigger distraction.
Just out of curiosity did the camera need to be on? Or was it one of those things your baby was crying and you wanted to feed your baby on the spot. Just curious. Not judging.
There are no rules now
😳
Nay-but I’m a woman with no children. So I might have a different POV if I had kids
I’m all in favour of women getting their baps out on calls.
Personally, I’d angle the camera waaay up, or turn it off. More for my own privacy, than anything. 🤷🏻♀️
Is this real life?
Weird as fk
If she had on a cover, I don't see the big deal.

I don't entirely disagree, but I am also a bit conservative. There are a couple of suggestions that could be or have been made.
1- don't turn your video on
2 - tilt the monitor up 2 inches so not to get the entire shot
Cleary some people felt uncomfortable with this and it's not they are in discuss or judging, most of these people probably have children and go to public areas and see this.
I'm sure they are respectful and this is not something they are use to seeing at a board table.
Right now everyone needs to be understanding of how we are going to move forward and how everything is changing with work, virtual interactions and how we are going to be there for one another.
I'm happy she showed up for the call and did both her jobs as a mother and employee.
well the baby has to eat so...
Baby waits for no one. If it's imperative that she be on the call, then she's got no choice. Did she get the option to turn off her camera?

I advocate for public breastfeeding. It’s natural 🤷🏻♀️ If subtle, I don’t see an issue. You can always go off camera though. However, full blown nip action isn’t business appropriate, IMO and despite my perspective on public breastfeeding
She should have turned the camera off. She also could have used a shawl to cover up. Is it really necessary to show ur boobs? I don’t mind breast feeding, but use a shawl.
Baby gotta eat
