Can anyone recommend a great functional medicine doctor (that they have personally used) based in the NYC area? I’m dealing with a lot of hormonal issues, food sensitivities, and horrible migraines and am hoping to find someone who can address my health holistically versus going to an ENT, other specialists, etc (which I have already done). TIA!

Dr. Ashita Gupta isn't really my doctor but my sister's. This is her clinic: Yantra Endocrinology+Wellness. I forgot the exact location but they do have a website. www.yantrawellnes.com

Try the BioSeek Clinic at 785 Park Avenue, Ground Floor, New York, NY 10021. I went their last week for my checkup. One of the nicest experience I had with doctors.

Someone recommended The Morrison Center and also mentioned that Cornell Weil has a functional medicine center (on a different site). Anyone use them?

Busy working mom of 2 here - I’m happy to spend the money but don’t want to waste time. It’s tough to tell from online reviews what’s legit and what’s all smoke and mirrors!

like

I would second Cornell Weill personally, I've had the best experience there and I think their doctors actually treat you well rather than just telling you what to do

Joseph Giacona at Neighborhood Natural Medicine in Williamsburg. I worked with him to rectify severe gut issues (including food sensitivities). He is great but be prepared to make significant lifestyle changes. Good luck!

Unfortunately they do not. However, if you have an HSA, you can pay with that.

Have you heard of Dr. Dennis Gage of the Park Avenue Endocrinology & Nutrition? I have hormonal imbalance and was referred to him by my OB-GYN. Here's the address: 103 E 75th St, New York, NY 10021

Maybe you can try to schedule an appointment with Dr. Alkmini Anastasiadou of Endony Endocrinology. She's a holistic doctor and natural endocrinologist based in Manhattan. Had the best experience with her.

Good luck to you as well. Hopefully we get some recommendations here!

I have not used Parsley Health but they appear to have decent reviews. Following this discussion as well.

I have an amazing functional medicine doctor but he is in Norwalk, CT about 90 minutes outside of Manhattan so not sure if that is too far from you. DM me if you want the name!

Ahh I would love to but unfortunately have to be realistic and say that I wouldn’t have time to go. Thank you anyway though!

Some great recommendations in here - thank you all! I plan to look all of them up. Hopefully this helps whoever else is searching as well.
