Pick your battles
Some of my best copy never saw the light of day because some clients don’t know strong copy/concept if it kicked them in the nuts. But that’s not all clients. If this project is a wash, brush it off. You’ll have plenty of years/clients to present super strong copy that sings off the page. Don’t lose sleep over it!
To fail, means your not trying hard enough. Try harder and you will learn more about managing how hard it is to win.

Every copy line you write doesn’t have to be “creative”. Take a look at what your client is trying to ACTUALLY accomplish. Maybe this project is more deal/sales or product based.
You can’t always write exciting lines, when sometimes what the client wants is a copy line to hit specific RTBs.
This happens nearly every day with nearly every client. Brush it off.
