Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

You're required to use the corporate Amex. Sure you can get away with the occasional personal card expense but they'll frown on it rapidly.
You have to take corporate Amex even if you have a personal Amex Centurion card.
Yes, you get to keep all the points.
Points fee is $175 a year, you have to
Opt in. Firm mandates this card for tracking and expense importing (saves a to. Of time to enter)
1 pt per dollar 😬 that’s really bad. You would think they would select a travel card like the CSR which returns 3x for travel and dining. Disappointed in uncle D’s decision but hey, atleast don’t have to worry about cumbersome expense reports and finance holding your expense check for weeks.
You get a corporate offer on the personal cards, so the annual fee gets reduced to different degrees across the different cards you can choose from.
Not sure if it’s required (I assume it is), but we keep the points. When we’re actually traveling it’s a lot of points with all flights, hotels, meals and any other expenses on it.
How much is the fee to keep the points?
$99 a year
Haven’t worked at a proper consulting firm before but I find it weird that I’m required to open a line of credit under my name. Personally don’t like having too many credit cards open
That's not how corporate cards work. You're not liable for the balance. In fact my corporate card doesn't appear on my credit report at all.
