What careers pay the best in the Uk?
I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Family comes first and as long as you communicated in advance they have plenty of time to move people around. I had my second baby (I am father) in the middle of busy season and I still took three weeks and them remaining paternity time later. I would not work for a firm who does not support my time off when I need it, especially for occasions like this. I would say take your time off to support your spouse and bond with baby. The worse comes to worse, you come back from paternity and find a new job.
Agreed with EY 1! The benefit is there for you, it would be a shame not to take it! Honestly you will probably want more time when the baby comes.
It is a really special time after a baby is born you should try to soak up as much as you can. Definitely use the benefit it’s there for a reason!
I will be taking 6.5 months off for parental and everyone in my office is supportive of that.
If your firm offers the benefit, take it! You'd be a fool if you didn't take it just because you're caring so much about people's lame gossip!!
I don’t know what the policy is now, but when I was there, it was busy season when my child was born, so I took a week off, and took the remaining weeks in the summer.
Be reasonable about when you take the time off and I’m sure they will accommodate your needs as a father.
Are you getting push to use 4 months or not to use whole months? I am confused
Pushback to not take the time off
That is weird. Unless you are due a promotion this coming yeah, I would not care about people on the side. If you senior manager/partner says something, I would speak with HR or maybe only take two to three months. We get 6 weeks tops and I have used it all without any issues.
Make sure you have clearly documented a transition plan detailing how the work you've been doing will be explained to other people and covered while you're out. As long as you take that to your project / practice lead, there is no reason they should stop you from taking the time you have according to policy.
