I did the first part of the authorization and missed the part where they said a physically present person. I am staying at a Marriott and was asking the staff here to do it.
This is because of the pandemic, this step in the onboarding process is usually done in person so now they need to set up a way to get that document legally filled out so you can start working. It can’t be anybody with the same last name and address, thats the only constraint I’m aware of

They are all scared of the i9. As soon as I say that, they are jumping to say no regardless of how much pre-explanation I do.
