Hello Fishes, I'm in my NP and lwd is sep 19th. I gave technical round for Accenture last week. It's cleared and same is reflected in Accenture portal. Even HR called and discussed about salary and offer negotiations. I agreed to the amount that she said. After that she told that i will have to attend a final Managerial round. But still she hasn't arranged it. When asked about it today, she said that she is looking for a interview slot with panelist. Anyone know what's happening in this case? Acce

Lol good luck moving. What practice are you in?
Hey OP, I did the same and moved to the 305. I took about a 5% decrease in salary due to cost of living adjustments; I came from a more expensive city. With that being said, it was worth it and I am loving the weather. I will forewarn you though the public transit is terrible so I would suggest you live close to the airport or to a metra stop if you’re planning on Miami (I’d recommend Dadeland). Fort Lauderdale is awesome to fly out of if you can because security takes 5 minutes.
Also, to continue from my prior comment, Advisory has very little presence in South Florida so I’ve found myself flying back to my original office location every few months just to maintain my network somewhat. Otherwise you will feel pretty isolated. Good luck!
Yep no problem. Culturally it is very different; Spanish is pretty much the official language and it is very materialistic and fake down there. Make a few trips down there before you decide, because it is an adjustment (unless you grew up there, which I did). Make sure to surround yourself with the right people because it’s very easy to get caught up. Do not mean to preach, I’ve just never seen anything like it, and moving away from SoFla made the cultural shock and materialistic nature of South Florida even more apparent to me when I came back to the area.
Haha i know i am from there so i completely get what you’re saying! It’s a fast life

The traffic during “season” is something else. Hope you can speak fluent Spanish. Also, unless you’re going to South America, be prepared for connecting flights at MIA, FLL, or PBI. Also, neighborhoods are full of vacation homes and prices are very inflated. Great place for home 2 but to be based out of soflo would be interesting...
Thank you^^ for this response it makes sense for the same to happen to me! I’m glad you love it and cannot wait to explore the 305
