I have a love-hate relationship with DU.
Hello fellow introverts! Instead of talking to people I have an Instagram account to shout my opinions about books into the void. Id love it if any of you would be willing to take a look and give me feedback on the reviews. I feel like they aren't quite at the level I'm aiming for.

Yes. I fake interest in what people plan on doing (or did) over the weekend
You say other people naturally exhibit but they probably have to fake it more than you realize also
Yes- a whole lot of faking going on. I tend to hate small talk, but I find that most people do like when you take an interest in them in some way. It can be talking about their weekend, vacation plans, asking suggestions for places to visit or restaurants, etc. Anything that puts the other person (esp. a client) in position as the expert will help build some rapport and perhaps trust
F1, doesn’t that make them dislike you when they realise you were only talking to them about their personal lives because you wanted something? It definitely makes me feel used.
