Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

I’m burnt out to the point that not performing well at my job anymore. Granted, I have a few other crap things going on but this job search is miserable.
Also COA clerk. I had no luck in NYC and will end up in another market. It seemed tough out there. Wonder how much has to do with biglaw vs boutique hiring. I may be wrong, but i wonder if biglaw simply isn’t really looking to hire clerks who didn’t summer with them. Maybe we don’t really fit into the biglaw business model.
It’s my understanding that big law generally loves clerks. This year is just awful for hiring, the worst it’s been in a while. Litigation is a little more forgiving right now, but if you are interested in transactional it seems you are out of luck.
Nope BL in NYC has been a strange hiring experience.
Are you at a federal COA? If so, I’m shocked you can’t find a job.
FWIW, I’ve heard rumblings of some folks just now getting screeners on applications they sent 6+ months ago.
I’m sorry the market is so bad this year, but you’ll inevitably find success. Don’t give up yet.
That is the best news I have heard in a while. Honestly at this point I’m so disillusioned by the process that I’m happy to see anyone succeed.
Looking in LA, but having a similar experience with no bites. My clerkship end date is flexible so I might just bid my time but honestly think it’s just a horrible year for clerk hiring. There’s open postings but they seem to be for 🦄 candidates
@JC1 Hilarious because people have also told me to look in the Bay Area and be willing to move out there because according to them there’s more lit associate openings out there right now
