If you’re holding, consider adding QQQM vs QQQ for a slight fee advantage

like

QQQM launched last Oct so it hasn’t even been a year. YTD matches more closely

like

Looks pretty good! Maybe a little overlap with VUG and QQQ and I’d just pick QQQ if you wanted that weighting. Also if this is in a taxable account I wouldn’t hold VYM or FALN to avoid dividend taxes.

like

It is a best practice to hold high dividend paying equities and bonds in a tax sheltered account so you don’t have to pay the tax on the high dividend payments. So, put these types of investments in your 401k, IRA, or HSA, but not in your taxable brokerage

Hi all! To qualify for an L1A visa, do you have to be a senior manager / executive level or does it work as long as you’re a manager? I just moved out of the US because the H1b lottery didn’t work out for me, and I’m thinking rather than spending 1 or 2 years in my home country and go back as a senior, I’d much rather work here a bit longer, get that manager title, wait a year, and then go back as I think that would be the fastest route to green card..? Any thoughts/advice? I’m from 🇰🇷 :) TYI!!

How do people save for a down payment on a house? My SO and I make a combined 130k salary, currently rent a 1br apt for $2250/mo, have other debts of 600/mo and 15k in savings. Neither of us have been able to save much since we started to rent the apt (6 months ago). I want to stop "wasting" money on rent and build equity in a home, lay down roots, start a family, but I feel I/we will never be able to save enough for a down payment (NY prices, 400-500k).
