Had a great interview, recruiter seemed super enthusiastic... and then silence. Not even a generic rejection email. Feels worse than a breakup – at least then you get some closure.

Is the amazon application status of active vs archived (not in consideration) accurate?

My first lateral associate interview is coming up. Aside from the obvious questions (Why this firm? Why do you want to leave your old firm? And asking about resume experiences), is there anything I should be prepared to answer? Has anyone been stumped by a lateral interview question?

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

In house interview- I am going to hopefully the final round of interview to meet the whole legal team. I was asked about my availability, and it will take 5 hours if in one day. Should I split to multiple days? Will it cause any issues? Anyone on both sides can speak from their experience? Thanks!
