Has any of you started in SAP and then made a switch into something else? How did you do it? What do you do now?

I’m sure others have considered this, I really feel burned out on my specific subspecialty. For the most part I do interventional pain management. I am midway through my career, but I cannot in anyway see doing this for the future, it just doesn’t feel like I’m making a difference. I’m honored to be a physician and to help a handful of people, but any suggestions on changing specialties mid life? I have perhaps 15 to 20 years yet to practice.. Just cannot get into my job lately. I don’t know if it’s the hormones, the upcoming FET transfer next week, or if I’m truly just over my company. I’ve been there 5 1/2 years. I started out as an executive assistant and last year I created a path for myself for communications. Almost a year into the role, a new manager was brought on, to my surprise. She is great, but I’m finding I don’t have enthusiasm for this role at all. I don’t think I have a choice to go back to being an executive assistant

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Would it look bad on my resume?

I want to transition into learning programming and decided the best roadmap for me would be to learn Salesforce, land an entry level admin job and develop my skills over time to transition into programming.
